Scientific activities:

- Crystal structure analysis of nanocrystals by precession electron diffraction tomography (PEDT).

- Dynamical refinement of structure parameters of PEDT data on nanocrystals.

- Crystal structure solution and analysis by single crystal and powder X-ray diffraction.

- Collaboration with foreign research teams (e.g. CRISMAT, France; Adolphe Merkle Institute, Switzerland; Instituto SENAI de Inovação em Laser, Brazil).

 

My work is focused on crystal structure determination of nanocrystals by electron diffraction using the dynamical refinement of precession electron diffraction tomography data, and of micrometer-sized crystals by single crystal x-ray diffraction; phase analysis of metal alloys by powder x-ray diffraction; and TEM analysis of materials at low/high temperatures.

 

Research grants:

2016 – 2017 GAUK. Dynamical refinement of structure parameters against data from precession electron diffraction tomography (coordinator: MPhys Cinthia Antunes Corrêa).

 

Awards:

2017 – Team Award of the Czech Academy of Sciences for outstanding scientific results.

2015 – Poster award in the 29th European Crystallographic Meeting for presenting remarkable research in electron crystallography.
