The Research and International Affairs Department is not the only department that provides help to staff coming to Charles University from abroad. It also cooperates with Charles University Welcome Staff Centre that can help all those who intend to stay for longer than three months with various agenda, such as
- the preparation of their visa documents prior to their scheduled arrival,
- finding the Czech language courses,
- insurance arrangements,
- opening a bank account,
- finding temporary accommodation,
- finding a school for their children.
