Recommendations for Habilitation and Professorship Lectures at the Scientific Board assembly of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics

Applicant should briefly describe results, future direction of his/her scientific work and demonstrate pedagogical competence.

The topic mentioned in the title of the lecture should be presented in broader context of the whole field; in a way that it is understandable to the professional public including physicists, computer scientists and mathematicians that represent the Scientific Board of MFF UK.

When presenting one's contribution to the field, it is recommended technical details should be limited to the necessary extent for explanation of essential results of the topic and description of techniques/methods used to achieve desired results.

According to the Scientific Board MFF UK recommendation from November, 3rd 2021, the candidate should be prepared to lead his lecture in English due to the frequent presence of foreign members of Commissions and the presence of opponents and guests at the Scientific Board meeting.

The length of the lecture should be a maximum of 30 minutes.
