Student facilitation mode

“Student Mode” (SM) is the concept of visa facilitation for students from selected third countries who are admitted to study at higher education institutions in the Czech Republic. The function of SM is to accelerate access to the relevant embassy for an applicant seeking a long-term residence permit or visa for the purpose of studies. Check the SM availability for your country here.

To be included in the student facilitation mode, please contact our Student Affairs Department. Students applying through the SM are not allowed to apply themselves at the same time.

You can only be included in SM when you have already collected all the visa documents (including the admission documents from our university).

In countries with a high number of applicants, the SM does not automatically mean a significant acceleration of the process. Even with SM, it may take several weeks in certain countries to get the appointment date.
