Student Faculty Grants

Student Faculty Grants (SFGs) are a special scholarship program designed to support the scientific research activities of students enrolled in bachelor's and master's degree programs offered by the Faculty. Student Faculty Grants are governed by the rules set out in Article 13 of the Rules for Awarding Scholarships at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University and by Dean’s Measure No. 16/2026. The deadlines for submitting SFG project proposals are twice a year: 15 May and 15 November.

Starting from the 2026/27 academic year, new regulations apply to Student Faculty Grants (SFGs). SFGs awarded before October 1, 2026, continue to be governed by the previous regulations and rules, in particular Article 5 of the former Rules for Awarding Scholarships at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics.
