Joint Low Temperature Laboratory

The research is aimed at:

  • Mössbauer spectroscopy of the systems containing nanoparticles of iron compounds and alloys - measurements in the broad temperature range 4.2 - 700 K  and measurements in magnetic fields up to 6 T (in-field Mössbauer spectroscopy) are possible. (More here https://mossbauer.cz/)
  • Magnetic and transport properties of superconductors - study by highly sensitive custom-made magnetometers of the RF-SQUID type
  • Cryogenic fluid dynamics - study of the 4He superfluid and a quantum turbulence (more here https://www.superfluid.cz/)
