Time frame of mentoring

The mentoring process is a long-distance run, lasting a few months during the academic year at minimum.

The student (mentee) sends their CV and a letter of motivation, containing their expectations from mentoring, which specific topics they would like to discuss with their mentor, and what the target of the mentorship should be. At the end of the semester, they will evaluate the mentorship so far and present their expectations for the other half of the academic year. The mentee always comes prepared to their meeting with their mentor.

The mentor undergoes the induction meeting with the student, based on which they agree on a target, form and dynamics of the collaboration. Together, the mentor and mentee, communicate, work on projects, and evaluate the mentorship at its end. You can enter the mentorship at any time during the year but be aware, that the mentors might have full capacity later in the year.
