Our research includes investigation of molecular interactions, membrane-bound processes, and complex cellular processes on the level from model systems to living cells. Besides standard biochemical and microbiological methods we preferentially use emission spectroscopy (steady-state and time resolved fluorescence, fluorescence anisotropy) and fluorescence microscopy (confocal imaging, FLIM, etc.).
