Assistant Professor position at the Department of Chemical Physics and Optics specializing in the field of biophysics and biochemistry of photosynthesis.

Qualification requirements: Ph.D. degree (or equivalent) in the field of biophysics and biochemistry of photosynthesis and postdoc stays at foreign institutions. Practical experience with isolation and characterization of photosynthetic complexes is required, as well as expertise in the use of optical spectroscopy methods, both steady-state and time-resolved, to investigate photosynthetic complexes. Experience with the development of biohybrid devices for the conversion of light energy is also required. Practical experience with the study of mechanical properties of solids is required, including expertise in the field of advanced in-situ methods for monitoring deformation processes in materials – especially the acoustic emission and digital image correlation techniques. An experience with supplementary methods (e.g. internal friction), corrosion testing, and electron microscopy is an advantage. Academic Researcher position at the Department of Low-Temperature Physics specializing in the field of particle physics

Qualification requirements: Ph.D. degree (or equivalent) in the field of particle physics. The applicant must have experience with scientific work in large experiments of particle physics, e.g. particle accelerators in CERN. In addition to expertise in the analysis of data from particle experiments using a data analysis framework, ROOT is required. It is expected that the applicant has already conducted research in this field documented by a publication record. A list of relevant publications should be added to the application. Any experience of the applicant with cryogenic technologies and low-temperature physics is very welcome. Academic Researcher position at the Department of Low-Temperature Physics specializing in the field of Physics of Condensed Matter and Materials Research

The applicant should be experienced in the characterization of materials using Mössbauer spectroscopy (transmission geometry, CEMS/CXMS), NFS, SEM, and XRF. Experience with experiments of Mössbauer spectroscopy in low temperatures and external magnetic fields, including knowledge of evaluation programs MossWin, Confit, etc. will be considered as an advantage. The candidate should be able to work independently with experimental techniques for Mössbauer spectroscopy, XRF, and SEM. Academic Researcher position at the Department of Surface and Plasma Science specializing in the physics of plasmas with a focus on space physics

Qualification requirements: A Ph.D. degree (or equivalent) in the physics of plasmas (or similar) is required. Furthermore, we require the practical experience of the candidate with the processing of data from the satellite instruments, and the practice of designing and constructing them is also welcome. The candidate should be able to work independently in an experimental study of plasma processes in the heliosphere and the interaction of the solar wind with solar system objects. In the case of the position of associate professor, a habilitation in the relevant field or the achievement of a comparable position at an internationally recognized foreign workplace is required.

In the case of a professor position, the appointment of a professor in the relevant field or the achievement of a comparable position at an internationally recognized foreign institution is required and significant publication activity, a clear role on an international scale and the ability to coordinate the work of an expert group are expected.
