Internship Register (outside Erasmus+)

Basic rules for internship registration and instructions for working in SIS
- Before leaving for the internship, students must create a new internship record in SIS, complete the required information, and upload all mandatory documents.
- The internship application must be approved by the study
program guarantor for bachelor’s and master’s students, and by the
supervisor for doctoral students
(the guarantor or supervisor + the coordinator of Internships receive a notification) - The study
program guarantor or supervisor reviews the internship:
- If the application is approved, the student + coordinator both receive a notification.
- If the application is rejected, the student receives an email with the reasons for rejection.
- Any changes during the internship (especially changes to the duration) that occur after completing the internship record must be reported immediately to the Internship coordinator Kristýna Kysilková (kristyna.kysilkova@matfyz.cuni.cz).
- After returning from the internship, the student updates the actual duration of the internship in SIS and uploads confirmation of its completion, no later than 30 days after returning.
- The study program guarantor or supervisor
receives an email and approves the internship record or returns it for
completion.
- The student receives a notification.
Important notice
- An internship carried out without creating an internship record in SIS will not be officially recorded. A student who undertakes an internship without proper registration is not entitled to have it recognized as part of his/her studies. Such internships are not eligible for university or faculty funding.
- An internship is considered completed
only after:
- the student updates the information after returning and subsequent approval by the study program guarantor or supervisor.
