Partnership Programme
Although Matfyz ranks among the most prominent academic institutions (generating approximately 6 % of research output in all around the Czech Republic), large number of our alumni pursues after graduation predominantly practical job positions in both small and large, local and multinational companies. Consequentially, we have always seen it as significant to ensure that teaching at Matfyz offers a clear continuity in practice.
The Partnership Programme at CUNI MFF enables this cooperation between the Faculty and the commercial sphere. It also aids to shift into a qualitatively higher and more comprehensive level of cooperation in order to absolutely fulfil the existing potential. This website introduces companies, which are currently taking part in the CUNI MFF partnership programme.

We are not just the biggest Czech car manufacturer, one of the three oldest in the world. ŠKODA AUTO is increasingly becoming an IT company. The company´s site houses the largest private industrial data center in the Czech Republic reaching a computing capacity of 15 petaFLOPS, which corresponds to 15.000.000.000.000.000 computing operations per seconds and this capacity is being used, among others, for virtual reality, visualizations and simulations. 800 apps and systems for 18,000 users are being developed and operated here. Škoda has developed the software for some of these technologies itself.
We’re developing modern, cloud-based hotel software that’s changing hospitality all over the world. Originally a Czech company, our headquarters and technological team are both based in Prague. The key activities of the association include operation of the domain name registry for the .CZ domain, operation of the CZ top-level domain and public education in the area of domain names.

The Ferdinand Brewery has been brewing traditional beer recipes since 1897, and its founder was Archduke Franz Ferdinand d'Este. It ranks among craft and typically Czech breweries.
