Qualification requirements: Habilitation or full professor title in the field of physics, research and pedagogical practice in the field of surface and plasma science, publishing activity in impacted journals or equivalent periodicals, recognized in the field, ability to coordinate workplace activities, significant motivation for workplace management and to support its dynamic and balanced development in all activity aspects. Expected starting date is July 1, 2021.

Director of the Computer Science Institute of Charles University

ID of the position: 202104-VED-IUUK

Qualification requirements: Habilitation or full professor title in a relevant area, fluent command of Czech and English language, research and teaching experience in an area of interest of the Institute, publication record in impact journals, selective conferences or other media recognized by the community, ability to coordinate the activities of the institute, a strong motivation for leading the institute and supporting its dynamic and proportional development in all aspects, appropriate management skills.

Expected starting date is January 1, 2022.

• citation report, and
• a motivation letter including an outline of the development of the department for the next at least 4 years

The subject of this e-mail should contain the ID of the position. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview. In well-justified cases, the interview can be held remotely. The shortlisted candidates may also be invited to give a public lecture.
