Professional career:
- 2025 Associate Professor at KCHFO
- 2017 – 2025 Researcher at KCHFO
- 2015 – 2016 Postdoc in the group of prof. Pachucki at the University of Warsaw, Warsaw, Poland
- 2010 – 2014 Ph.D. student in the group of Jaroslav Zamastil at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University
Research activity:
Precision QED calculations in light atoms – energy levels, fine and hyperfine structure of two- and many-body systems and its comparison to experiment in order to test the predictions of the Standard model and search for effects beyond it; study of the internal structure of the nucleus (for instance the proton charge radius, Zeemach radius etc.) and obtaining accurate values of fundamental physical constants; study of exotic systems like muonic hydrogen, muonium, positronium, or antiprotonic atoms
Scientific output (as of January 26, 2026):
- h-index 13 (Scopus)
- 31 publications in impacted journals, including 1 in Phys. Rev. Lett. and 27 in Phys. Rev. A
- 467 citations without self-citations (Scopus)
- co-investigator of 1 grant of the Czech Science Foundation; principal investigator of 2 grants GA UK
Offer of student works:
Possibility of bachelor, master or PhD work with topics from theoretical physics (atomic physic): nonrelativistic, relativistic and QED calculations in two-body or many-body systems, analytical and numerical calculations
