Gel permeation chromatography
The Agilent Technologies 1260 Infinity Gel Permeation Chromatography system allows for the determination of molar mass distribution in polymers. The system includes an isocratic and binary high-pressure solvent gradient pump, an automatic sample injector, a chromatographic column thermostat, a set of chromatographic columns, and four signal detectors (UV-VIS absorption, refractometric, viscometric, and multi-angle light scattering).
The option of 2D-chromatography is available, combining gel permeation and liquid chromatography, equipped with an evaporative light scattering detector.
Molar Mass Measurement Range:
- Approx. 250 to 2,500 g.mol-1 (in tetrahydrofuran, PLGel 100 Å/10 μm column).
- Approx. 200 to 10,000 g.mol-1 (in tetrahydrofuran, PLGel 500 Å/10 μm column).
- Approx. 800 to 50,000 g.mol-1 (in tetrahydrofuran, PLGel 1,000 Å/10 μm column).
- Approx. 10,000 to 200,000 g.mol-1 (in tetrahydrofuran, PLGel 10,000 Å/10 μm column).
- Approx. 100 to 60,000 g.mol-1 (in water, PLA quagel-OH 30 Å/10 μm).
- Approx. 200,000 to 10,000,000 g.mol-1 (in water, PLA quagel-OH 60 Å/10 μm).
