Terminal server

The Karlin network has a Windows terminal server for employees and postgraduate students (generally for those who have an account xxx@karlin.mff.cuni.cz).

The name of the terminal server is

ajax16.karlin.mff.cuni.cz

or

195.113.31.31

As of January 31, 2021 it is not possible to connect to ajax16.karlin.mff.cuni.cz directly, but only via SSH tunnel. Here are the instructions:

• Linux/Mac
• Windows

Note for Linux: to connect, you must use a program that supports secure connections, e.g. remmina (but e.g. rdesktop does not support secure connections).

When logging in, use the username as your login

MSEKCE\username

and the password you use to log in to the MSEKCE domain (usually the same as your email password).
