My research is in undergraduate mathematics education, particularly instructors’ pedagogical choices (e.g., use of pedagogical proof moves, use of cohesive linguistic devices in proofs, use of teacher discourse moves, use of group work) and students’ experiences (e.g., during the pandemic, during group work, in active learning recitations). Most of my studies are connected by the common thread of discourse.
