First controlled fusion experiment with energy gain!

First controlled nuclear fusion eperiment with positive energy gain has been conducted in Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, CA, USA.

Scientists from the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, National Ignition Facility, produced more energy in the controlled nuclear fusion experiment than the amount of laser light energy delivered to the sample in order to intite the fusion. They used a fuel capsule as a target for 192 synchronized beam lines, delivering the total amount of 2 MJ of light energy.
