CITIA Roadmap Conference in Prague

CITIA Roadmap Conference in Prague On Oct. 29/30, 2015, the Conversational Interaction Technology Innovation Alliance) organized jointly with the Multilingual Europe Technology Alliance Network (META-NET the CITIA Roadmap Conference in Prague, locally hosted by the Institute of Formal and Applied Linguistics at MFF UK.

The CITIA Roadmap shows the future of natural human-computer interaction by speech and language with artificial personal assistants, information systems, call and service centers, avatars in games, colleagues working in intelligent shared collaboration platforms, and human to human cross-language interaction (speech translation). This roadmap will become incorporated in the European Multilingual Digital Single Market Research Agenda, which will guide future European research and innovation in the area of natural language processing in general. The discussion about the CITIA Roadmap and the META-NET Research Agenda have been lead by Steve Renals, the head of CITIA, and Jan Hajic, the Chair of the META-NET Executive Board.
