Welcome to the Science on Stage Festival 2022!

Elixír do škol, Science on Stage Czech Republic, and Science on Stage Europe are happy that the festival took place despite the difficult situation. Take a look how it looked like! 

Every two years, Science on Stage Europe brings together science teachers from all over Europe to exchange best practice teaching ideas and practical strategies with passionate colleagues from more than 30 countries in the biggest science teaching European festival for teachers.

Science on Stage Europe believes that the best way to improve science teaching and to encourage more schoolchildren to consider a career in science or engineering is to motivate and inform their teachers. The non-profit organisation was founded in 2000 and reaches over 100,000 teachers Europe-wide.

Every two years a Science on Stage Festival is held in a different country and Prague in the Czech Republic had the pleasure of being the host of #SonS2022. 

The Festival is the culmination of national events in the participating countries. Following the principle “from teachers for teachers” the festival is also a starting point for a wide range of national follow-up activities as the best teaching ideas from the festival find their way into teaching materials and strategies in the participants own countries.

On the Open Day, local teachers and the general public have the opportunity to see for themselves some of the exciting ideas of the festival.
