Werner von Siemens Award for the most significant achievement in basic research

A team from our group at the Department of Chemical Physics and Optics, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University - consisting of Marius Constantin Chirita Mihaila, Petr Koutenský, Kamila Moriová, and Martin Kozák - has won the Werner von Siemens Award for the most significant achievement in basic research! The group received this prestigious award, presented annually by the Czech branch of Siemens company, for their work titled „Correction of spherical aberration of electron lenses using shaped light waves“.
