The cost of the ticket is CZK 32 and the ticket should be bought in
advance in kiosks with newspapers, in the entrance to underground stations or from many bus stop in coin-operated machines.
The ticket can be also bought on a city bus from a bus driver for CZK 40. (For AE bus, separate ticket must be bought from the bus driver, it costs CZK 60.)
One ticket suffices for 90 minutes transport including any transfers. It is usually enough for the entire trip. For more details refer to the website of public transportation.
There is a mobile app for paying fares, as well as you can buy a ticket by sending appropriate SMS (unfortunately, info is in Czech only, it simply says you must send message "DPT32" to the phone number "90206").
