Karlov Campus

The campus Ke Karlovu consists of three buildings: M, F, and P. Building M houses the Dean's office as well as some of the departments of physics. Building F houses further physics departments. The sport centre Albertov is not the permanent seat of any department, though some rooms are used by the Department of Physical Education (KTV). In the list below, the departments that are written in bold have their secretariats in this building.

Transport: it is possible to travel to the campus Ke Karlovu by public transport, the closest stops of bus No. 291 being called Detska nemocnice Karlov and Apolinarska; not far from the campus, about 10 minutes walk, are the metro stations I. P. Pavlova [line C], Vysehrad [line C], and Karlovo namesti [line B], and tram stops Bruselska, Stepanska, I. P. Pavlova, Moran, and Botanicka zahrada. It is also possible to reach the campus by car and park in the area around buildings M and F.

Ke Karlovu 3 „M“

Access: The building is accessible during work days from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Outside these hours the faculty access electronic system is switched on, or the reception area in building F can be used. The courtyard is accessible by use of the bell to the reception during work days from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. In order to exit from the courtyard the access electronic system ort he recetion bell should be used.

Wheelchair access: Go through the courtyard towards the entrance to the 1st basement; ring the bell for the receptionist, then use the lift. There is also a restroom adapted for wheelchairs on the 2nd floor, next to the back stairs.

Parking: In the courtyard there is fakulty parking for 4 vehicles, 1 vehicle for buffet and suppliers. Traffic in the courtyard is one-way, the upper gate is for entrance and the lower gate is for exit. At the building is a parking zone for the city district Prague 2 for a long and short-term parking.

Bicycles: Bike-stands are in the courtyard.

Fast Food: Hot and cold food, open MoThur 8:00 a.m.3:00 p.m., Fri 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.

Ke Karlovu 5 „F“

Access: The building is accessible during work days from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Outside these hours the faculty access electronic system is switched on, or the porter's lodge can be used. The courtyard is accessible by use of the bell to the porter's lodge (non-stop).

Wheelchair access: Use of the bell to the porter's lodge, the porter will open the door to the inner courtyard where is the lift; there is no restroom adapted for wheelchairs in this building.

Parking: In the courtyard there are places for faculty employees, visitors' cars or delivery vans. Around the building there are parking zones of the Municipal Prague 2 for long-term and short-term parking.

Sports Centre Albertov „P“

Address: Albertov 9a/2098, 121 16 Praha 2

Access: The Centre is accessible from April 1 to October 31 during work days from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.; at the weekends according to the schedule.

Wheelchair access: The Centre is not constructed for wheelchair access.

Bicycles: At the building watched by a centre manager.

Parking: There is only limited number of the parking places for deliveries, public parking is in walk-by distance at the F and M buildings.
